The recipients of our Gamma Gamma Recruitment Grants may be given the opportunity to apply for additional grants from the Lambda State Organization (IL) of Delta Kappa Gamma Society.
The Gamma Gamma Chapter’s Educational Excellence Committee nominates a full-time female IL college/university student for a Lambda State Grant-In-Aid applicant. She must be an IL resident and may be studying in the field of education. She must be a current or previous chapter recruitment grant or grant-in-aid recipient. She shall have completed three (3) semesters or equivalent quarter hours of college work by February 1st, and submitted all application requirements by that date.
The Gamma Gamma Chapter’s Educational Excellence Committee also nominates a full-time female student accepted into a certified teacher education program and who is a resident of IL for a Lambda State Florence A. Cook Recruitment Grant. To be considered valid, this application must be submitted by a Delta Kappa Gamma Chapter in Lambda State before February 1st.
The M. Josephine O’Neil Arts Award is sponsored by the Lambda State Organization. Applicants must be female IL residents in their sophomore or junior year at an accredited four year college or university. Students must be majoring in and demonstrate outstanding accomplishment in music, dance, drama or fine arts to qualify. All application requirements must be submitted by February 1st of odd numbered years.
